Implant-Free Rhinoplasty
Implant-free rhinoplasty reshapes the nose without using an artificial implant.
Conventional implant-free rhinoplasty uses the cartilage in one piece, which makes it hard to create the desired bridge line, can leave the bridge stiff, and carries a high chance of bending (warping) and visible cartilage (a “chalk nose”). To overcome these weaknesses, Elite uses diced cartilage.
Diced cartilage allows a variety of shapes to be designed with precision on both the bridge and the tip, overcoming the limits of conventional implant-free rhinoplasty while producing more natural results. In addition, once it has taken in the skin it is recognized as your own tissue, so the chance of absorption by the body or deformation of the nose shape is markedly lower.

Surgical Method
Dicing cartilage is a widely used method overseas that has been internationally validated in a number of published papers.
However, dicing cartilage takes more time, and without the right know-how a satisfying result is much less likely. It is therefore important that a skilled specialist performs the surgery personally.

- You want to naturally correct a deviated nose or hump nose
Implant-Free Rhinoplasty Q&A
-
How is diced cartilage different from ordinary cartilage?Unlike a conventional graft of your own cartilage, diced cartilage can give the nose a more natural, softer curve. With diced cartilage, you can achieve a smooth bridge and a natural tip without worrying about an uneven surface!
-
Can the nose become lower over time after implant-free rhinoplasty? Some absorption is possible, but the cartilage does not disappear entirely. Diced cartilage can be partly absorbed over time, but the absorption rate can be minimized with the medical team's know-how. Rib cartilage in particular has a low absorption rate and can last for a long time. If you are worried about absorption, a technique that firmly secures the cartilage can be applied to improve retention.
-
Can the shape change over time after implant-free rhinoplasty?Yes. Depending on the properties of the cartilage, the shape may change over time. However, properly dicing the cartilage prevents warping, and the chance of deformation can be minimized when the medical team controls the direction in which the cartilage is placed.
Right after surgery, the shape may look different because of swelling, but the final shape settles in after about 6 months to a year.
