Low Nose (Augmentation Rhinoplasty)
A surgery that assesses each person's unique face shape and creates the ideal line, using materials and methods chosen for the height, angle, and width that suit their proportions
Low Nose
When the nose is congenitally low or has become low through deformation, augmentation rhinoplasty (surgery to raise the nose) is performed as a corrective treatment. Raising the bridge and correcting the tip can create the refined, three-dimensional look the patient wants.
Nose surgery is not simply a matter of making the nose higher. Only when the condition of the nasal cartilage and tissue and the harmony of the whole face are fully considered can it bring out overall dimension and create a far more refined impression.

Surgery Information
Surgery Information-
Surgery time 1–1.5 hours

Anesthesia Sedation
-
Hospitalization Not required
-
Stitch removal After 7 days
-
Follow-up visits 2–3 visits

May vary depending on the patient's condition and the surgical method.
Surgical Method
The bridge is raised by placing material such as silicone, donor rib cartilage, or the patient's own rib cartilage beneath the periosteum of the nasal bone, and the volume of the tip is adjusted with the patient's own cartilage or muscle before it is raised into a natural line.

Nose Surgery Materials
Before surgery, the patient's skin condition and anatomical structure are accurately assessed, and the surgery is performed with materials suited to the individual.
Rather than simply raising or lengthening the nose, we create the ideal nose line based on a one-on-one consultation and accurate diagnosis, considering individual features such as the length of the face and the angle between the columella and the philtrum.

Low Nose Surgery (Augmentation Rhinoplasty) Q&A
-
Can the nose become lower again over time after low nose surgery? When your own cartilage is used, some of it may be absorbed, but the nose does not go back to being completely low. With an implant there is no risk of absorption, though its outline may become visible over time if the skin is thin. The nose may generally look lower than it did at first as the swelling goes down after surgery, but once it finally settles, it can remain stable.
-
Can low nose surgery significantly change my look?As the height and shape of the nose are adjusted, you can expect your overall facial features to look more defined. However, a nose that is too high can look unnatural, so a design that suits your facial proportions is important. Adjusting the shape of the tip along with the bridge creates an even more refined look.
-
Is there a chance of an uneven surface as a side effect of low nose surgery? If the implant does not sit flush against the skin, or your own cartilage settles irregularly, the surface may become uneven. Particularly when the skin is thin, the outline of the implant can show through, so a design that forms a smooth curve is needed to prevent this. Having the surgery performed by a skilled medical team minimizes these side effects.
